I had to open Nicky's head and needed to change both strings. Both were being chewed by someone while I am not around.

There is a little monster who likes to chew on string and even my iphone ear phone.

Dragon Boat Festival - Stanley Hong Kong 2012

It was the Dragon Boat Festival yesterday. I went to Stanley Beach to see Dragon Boat race.

Interesting Bamboo Charcoal Peanuts 竹炭花生

Got this bag of peanuts from my friend. She just came back form Taiwan. When I looked at the printing on the bag, it said  竹炭花生, which means Bamboo Charcoal Peanut. Wow! What an interesting ingredient to add to peanut!

To my knowledge, bamboo charcoal are used to purify water, eliminate organic impurities, smells and in some places as an a dehumidifier. This is the first time that I see this ingredient is used on food. 

The peanuts taste a little salty with a crunchy coating. Like the other ordinary peanuts.

Simply Mango a day at the countryside.

Last Sunday, a cold, wet and rainy day. Me and my family visited a Honey Bee farm. Of cause my simply Mango also went with us.

We visited a bee and honey farm first. This is a very small farm most of the Honey are all produced in China. This is on

The sign said " Welcome to Honey Bee Kingdom"

Wow, look at all those little bees.

I think this one wants to squeeze out.

Then, we went to a local dairy farm in Hong Kong. This is a very small local business. There is only 4 cows in the farm. I really don't know where are the other cows?

After visiting the bee and dairy farm, we went to a village very close to the Hong Kong and China border. 

The Wan Ancestral Halls.

Local village school.  It has been closed down already.

After viewing the local village, we went to lunch and then we visit a local herbal tea company.
